About Me
I started dancing at the age of seven as I have always had a passion for dance and music. After competing in the juvenile, junior and amateur ranks and then finishing third with my dance partner John Rainey in British Championships in Blackpool, I decided to take qualifications in order to teach in 1982 with the ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing). After qualifying, together with my partner Barry Earnshaw, we ran a very successful Medallist and Competitive School. We were the proud trainers of champions in all categories, including formation teams and inventive dance competitions. During this time, I also adjudicated all over the country! I concentrate now on hosting social events, tea dances, dance holidays and classes for adult dancers. I teach all levels from beginner to championship standard in Old Time, Ballroom, Modern Sequence and Latin Sequence. Classes are held throughout the Staffordshire and West Midlands area at a range of fabulous venues. All dances have a fun, friendly atmosphere where you can make new friends. Please come and join us for a fabulous time dancing with like minded people! Hope to see you soon!
